Up to four chef's hats and 20 points (unheard of in Germany) are awarded to the restaurants discussed by an independent, anonymous team of authors led by editor-in-chief Patricia Bröhm and editor Manfred Kohnke. Gault&Millau is the only one of the renowned restaurant finders that is not only characterized by well-founded reviews and a wealth of information and address information, but also substantiates its judgment in detailed articles that, despite all the expertise, are often lively and smug.
A NOTE ON YOUR OWN CAUSE
In order to be able to present you with current, high-quality restaurant reviews year after year, we test around 1,000 restaurants every year, many of them even several times. For us as a publisher, this can only be financed through the combination of advertising revenue and income from print and digital editions. Since the 2014 edition, we can no longer offer the data from the digital edition at a more symbolic price.
